Smart Lighting System

The Internet of Things (IoT) has made it possible for all household devices and electronic equipment to connect to a central system via Wi-Fi or LTE networks, allowing you to control them through your smartphone or laptop.
With a smart lighting system, you can remotely turn lights on or off, automate their operation with scheduling, and even adjust brightness and color to match your mood or needs.

Dimmers

A smart light typically consists of an LED module, a microcontroller, a constant current (CC) LED driver, one or more transmitters and receivers (such as Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, or Bluetooth), and sensors that may be integrated into the bulb or installed externally. The driver regulates the current supplied to the LED while also powering the transmitter, receiver, microcontroller, and other output devices.

The driver receives pulse-width modulation (PWM) or other digital signals from the microcontroller to control dimming and switching the LEDs on or off. These digital signals are based on events and commands communicated wirelessly via a smartphone, hub, or cloud network. The microcontroller also adjusts the LED brightness according to input received from connected sensors.
